About the sound, it was my mistake, sorry for that one! 
The function button is irrelevant now, because I mixed it with the Media Server On/Off button, so, sorry for that one too. 
But can you help me with the device driver issue?

Is this happening on both 2.4 and 5 GHz band? Does it also happen to the devices connected to the Guest network? For isolation, we can try to unblock one of the devices to see if this is only happening to those devices that were blocked with specific times.

I did exactly what you said about short out the two pins next to the black dot at the corner of the chip, with my pc connected to the router at lan port 1 and no wan port connnected.
After that, I was able to log at 192.168.1.1 but it was not a management screen at all, just a firmware upgrade screen as you can see in the attached image. Also checked any wireless signal transmited by the router but found nothing.
I tried to flash the original linksys firmware downloaded from linksys support page, but no succeed.... and if you press cancel button, then the router will back to vivint fw.
in my case... shorting out out those two pins, didn't help me ti get ride of vivint firmware until now... if you find out any news pls share it here
Finally it works!!
The first time I tried to upgrade with original linksys firmware I chose the file "FW_E1200_2.0.09.002_US_20171208.bin" but i didnt work.
I decided to give a last attemp... shorted out the two pins and then got into fw upgrade screen, but this tiem chose other file: "FW_E1200_v2.0.07.002_US_20150108.bin" and it worked perfectly!!!

Hi all.
We just installed a Linksys WRT 1900AC. It is running great and our remote employee is able to VPN into the router.
When we connect though our remote employee goes into 172.19.13.2 IP address though. The rest of our network is on 192.168.1.XXX.
We are not able to file share with shared folders. I thought we would be able to browse networked computers as we are connected. But I assume that being on 172 network vs. 192 network prevents this.
We specifically need to be able to access one computer that is on the 192.168.1.175 IP. That computer has sharing turned on for a specific folder. We can access locally already on the local LAN from the 192 group.
Anyway to allow the 172 VPN client to access 192 networked computers? Thanks.

Both options are practical choices to eliminate dead spots and to boost your Wi-Fi range and speed. However, on the 2nd one, we may need to reconfigure your whole network setup since the Linksys MR8300 Mesh router should act as the main router and the WRT1900AC will act as the secondary (either extender or router mode). One thing though that we can do is to hard wire the TV to the router (if it supports wired connectivity) and see if the same thing happens.
With the TV's distance from the router, we should also consider physical obstructions that could weakened Wi-Fi strength - like metal objects, thick walls, or other electronic appliances that causes interference. Keeping the router's firmware up-to-date would also do the trick. BTW, is this the only device that experienced the buffering when connected on the same spot?
For expressvpn don't they supply the ovpn file?

Yes but as the thread shows the opvn file would not work for me for some reason. Am fairly technical so niot sure why it would not.
I am in Australia so not sure if that makes a difference re the hardware although I imagine it shouldnt.

In the Linksys Smart WiFi solotion, I receive an unexpected error 2287 when I change settings that are related to WiFi settings 5GHz1 and 5GHz2 bands on my EA9500 V2. If I try to change the SSID, the WiFi password or the security modus, the error occurs. In case I switch 5GHz bandsteering off, it is not possible to switch it on. In all cases described above I receive error 2287.
All other functionality (2.4GHz related or other functionality in other screens) works well!

What I already have done, without success:
- installed the latest firmware
- several times a 30-60 seconds reset and reinstall with laptop connected with cable
- re-installation of firmware and configuration of router
I have read in this forum that more Linksys users have faced this problem, also with other routers than the EA9500 v2, but in all cases related to WiFi 5GHz settings. I also have found the workaround by using the Linksys IOS app. In the app I can change the settings. Only in case that band steering is switched off, it is not possible to switch it on with the app. I have to reload my settings backup in this case.
Please let me know if there is a solution for this. I think that it is fair to expect that this flagship router can be configured by using Smart WiFi whenever I want, without several tricks that do the thing.
