Re: WRT32x and WRT3200ACM WiFi Issues
I experienced about 2 really great days on the previous 3200acm BETA firmware before things went south. I just installed the latest BETA an hour ago and fingers crossed this is the one
Re: WRT32x and WRT3200ACM WiFi Issues
I ordered this in June - it has been nothing but problems. I just spent an hour trying to get the 5ghz AP to stay up so I can watch a decent movie. This happens all the time - I need to reset this router twice a day to get proper functionality. I have very few devices running at once, we are a household of two adults with no more than one stream. I have a IOT plug which simply won't connect. I just want my money back. IP addresses are not handed out unless I disable-enable wifi on devices.
I have been in contact with Linksys support and they told me "customer service will be in touch about sending a device to keep you online" but that was 10 days ago.
I don't want this doorstop anymore - give me my money back, Linksys.

Jo-Ann_B wrote:Make sure that the firmware of your Velop System is updated, jo_strasser. Then, let us know if the LED is still blinking so we can forward your case to our 2nd Level Support for further diagnosis.
Hi!
I´m running the latest firmware: 1.1.2.183316
The issue occurs frequently. So I haven´t found a solution yet.
The child node is located in a perfect distance to the parent node.
Can you please forward my case to the 2nd Level please?
I have recorded the issue and upload it to Vimeo.
This occurs every 2-3 minutes.
Take a look here:
The LED is dark blue, on the video it looks lighter. My camera cannot recognize it very good
Thanks JO!
Re: WRT32x and WRT3200ACM WiFi Issues
I would like to join the beta test. My WRT3200ACM is currently stored in a storage box, have gone back to my WRT1900ACS due to the 5GHz drops/lockups.

Re: WRT32x and WRT3200ACM WiFi Issues
Can you send me the beta Link.
I have been using the new WRT series since the WRT1900ACv1, I have the WRT3200acm on the shelf as it is just not cutting it at all.
I compile my own LEDE(doesn't work well either) and ddwrt isn't cutting it.

This router definately has port forwarding, unless something in the beta firmware actuall affected the software, because my stock WRT32x definately has port forwarding.
Yes GeekyArcher, It has a simple port forwarding. I want internal external port forwarding. But such a thing does not seem to exist.

E1200-VV ???
Purchased 3 routers off of Amazon and all them will not let me login with admin and admin. They are in bridge mode and the only way I can even get a login screen is to plug the router into my network and then log into my Main router "RV042" and look in the DHCP table and get the IP address of the E1200-VV to login but nothing works for usernamd and password.
There is a sticker on the botton them that shows E1200-V V.
The sticker also shows this info:
SSID: Linksys18491
Password: vivint18491
These routers were shrink wrapped and new in the box.
I have bought and deployed hundreds of the E1200 in the last 18 months and have never seen anything like these.
Thank you,
Jay

Re: WRT32x and WRT3200ACM WiFi Issues
Just FYI, I've been using the Beta firmware for the WRT32x for 24hrs now and haven't had any major issues yet. I just submitted my first survey. This definitely seems a positive direction. I'll keep you updated how it goes the next couple of days.
Re: WRT32x and WRT3200ACM WiFi Issues
Confirming the same. All issues appear resolved things are working perfectly and am continuing to monitor. I had been experiencing DHCP failures since the first week of December. Have just gone the longest (18 hours) I've ever gone since then without needing a reboot on the latest beta.
Re: es6900 poisoned DNS
You can do this with Asus Merlin:

I have the WRT32x - will the WRT3200ACM beta firmware work on this model? If so, can anyone provide a link please? I'll post back my results.
Linsys EA7300 Parental Controls not working
I have a Linksys EA7300 Wireless router and the firmware installed is EA7300 firmware version: 1.0.7.181820 I'm trying to turn on parental contols and block certain websites for a computer in my house. I can turn parental controls on and i select the computer from the list, but when i click the "Add" link, it doesnt let me select anything and it doesn't open a field to type the URL in. I tried changing the "Never", "Always, "and "Specfic Times" selections, but it still doesn't allow me to type in a URL i want blocked.
I checked to see if there are any firware updates, but it shows i'm up to date.
Attached is a screenshot of the parental options for me.
Re: E1200-VV ???
Re: E1200-VV ???
try holding the reset button in while powered up and see if it does a factory reset. that should set the ip to 192.168.1.1 and the password to admin
