I can... you need to go Into advanced setup. Just remove home.html at the end of the address and replace It with... advanced-wireless.html

The MAC masking didn't work so I just flashed the latest LEDE firmware on the router and everything worked right off the bat. I'll just use this as my resolution and close this one out. Thanks for taking a look!

Recently I started having problems with my wrt3200acm.
For about two months everything worked fine. But when I upgraded to 9.3.2.1 mwlwifi firmware wireless clients were unable to get IP address from the  routers DHCP. Problems usually start after a day or so. Downgrading to previously working firmware did not help.
A bit more technical details can be found here:
https://github.com/kaloz/mwlwifi/issues/243

Sent PM to Linksys_Lucas about testing beta fimwares. I really hope there would be a fix soon.

Are there any details on what might cause this issue? Why haven't I experienced it before? And why reverting to previously working firmwares does not resolve the problem?

Will fill out the survey but noticing mostly better results on my WRT-32x on the beta firmware. The only things that have dropped out so far are my Nest cams after 8 hours. Also downloading anything on any google device is painfully slow on this firmware. I changed DNS to be sure but my android tablet and phone have very slow speeds. All other devices work great. Confirmed it was not my devices by trying the same downloads on another router with no issue.

es6900 poisoned DNS

I need to turn off DNS services directly on my ea6900

I have set my own static DNS servers for my dhcp clients (opendns and google)

however the router's IP is ALSO being added to my dhcp clients

and the router's DNS -   IS RETURNING POISONED data

using the router web page to do a traceroute and I input a bogus domain name.. like     gighg.ijo

I get back

92.242.140.2   ---- a barefruite.co.uk    advertisement site

I have reset the router

I have reloaded latest firmware

Ridculous! I bet that new router will ship with this bug. I'm on my 2nd WRT3200ACM (due the LEDs dying and the 2.4GHz being unstable) and I think it's time that Linksys admits this product has some sort of huge problem that can only be resolved with another chipset or recall.

I have the same error message, I am not using 5ghz signal or streaming.

I couldn't find MP, and after talking one hour with Linksys assistance, I will return the router as advised.

Feel free to contact me to check if it worked.

FYI: My problem were loosing wifi signal, impossible to connect on wifi, no response on internet, and I've just seen that I cannot access the connection page when the bug starts.

It happens both on my computer and smartphone.

Already did the basics like flash of the firmware and settings reset by default; I disabled a lot of options and disabling IPV6 worked for a short while but then it started again at some point. The error appeared 3 months after purchasing the router.

Kind regards,

Nor007.

Just wanting to give a status on the Beta driver testing to all you guys who doesn't test / don't have it.

I got the beta drivers for WRT32X yesterday, flashed my router today when i got home from work and connected all devices once again to my WRT32.

As of right now everything works great, no wifi dropping, no disconnecting etc.

Everything works as it's suppose to!

So hold out. I had almost given up hope undtil i got my hands on the beta driver and was ready to abondon the router/linksys for good.

The devices i have connected on my Wifi is following:
Sonos
Phillips Hue

2x Chromecast

Apple phone and tablet

Android phone and tablet

Laptop and gaming PC

No problems with any devices and been running the beta firmware for +5 hours now. Usually it would have dropped 4-8 times by now

So I just wanted to pop in here and again underscore how much I love my wired ACM / bridge mode Velop setup.

I live in a 100 yo, 2 story, 1500 sq/ft solid masonry home that has internal masonry walls as well.  The ceilings are plaster on wire mesh.  Although small, my home is probably the least wifi-friendly setup imaginable.  Plus I live in a dense, old-school suburb, so the neighborhood is awash in competing wifi signals.

I bought the WRT3200 thinking that it would be powerful enough to cover the whole house, and while it was an improvement over my prior setup, we still had dead spots (especially the room we cook and eat in).  I added a supplemental AP via powerline adapter to cover the dead area in the cooking and eating room, plus another AP to cover part of upstairs and the outdoor area.

What i ended up with was 6 different wifi SSIDs and constant questions about what to connect to, etc. from my family; constant rebooting of the remote APs or resetting the powerline devices. Plus, with so many different APs, I was amplifying the neighborhood problem within my own house.

So, the failure of the WRT3200's wifi ended up being a huge bonus for me.  I'll need one more unit to cover part of upstairs and the outdoors area this spring, but what I ended up with was 1 SSID for the entire house, and it always works.

I installed the 12/29 version of DD-WRT on my 3200, disabled the wifi, and configured the hell out of it.  Plus, I'm running Yamon on a USB stick that gives me per device WAN usage.  Couldn't be happier with my ACM, and I'm content to wait around for a fix no matter how long it takes.

I average about 275 mbps even when i'm connecting to the remote Velop.

I understand that some of you expect more throughput, and that's why you bought this router, but frankly, I'm elated to have a wifi setup where I'm getting a dBm in the -50's in most areas of my home, and I'm happy to have a sub-300 mbps throughput in exchange for a strong, reliable, trouble-free signal.

I feel bad for those of you who passed on the opportunity to test drive the Velop, because it really is a great setup.

And again, for those of you that did choose it, if anyone is interested in offloading one or two of your Velop nodes, shoot me a PM.

EDIT: Also, wanted to thank Linksys again for stepping up and sending out replacement equipment while this is being worked on.

EDIT 2: Why is kitch-en a disallowed word in this forum?  Odd.

Mine was already off but I do recall hearing about a bug that you might need to turn it on once and then back off again to truly set it to 'off'

My WRT3200ACM is running version: 1.0.6.181063. For the last week, I've been having to turn off and on the wireless functions in order to restore WiFi operation. So, this build isn't the fix.

I have a mix of 3-6 Android devices and one Surface Pro (Win 10) connected to WiFi.

The 4 devices on Ethernet are solid.

We live in a condo environment, so there is alot of WiFi noise.

I have a lot of wifi noise too. Also a condo environment. Even on the latest beta mine will die within minutes of connecting an android device to it.

You have to wonder if Linksys QA bothered to test these routers in noisy environments...

I have now also been offered replacements for my faulty units. Must say that Linksys really handled this great. No other customer support I have been in contact with comes close.

I did notice I was streaming last night I decided to pick up my pixel 2 XL and run a speed test while streaming tv on my Fire TV. Sure enough right in the middle of my speed test on my Android phone the 5G band disrupted for a few seconds then eventually reconnected on my phone and the streaming paused / buffered on my Fire TV. This could possible be Android related.

I have to say Linksys handled my case well. A velop system (2 pack) to get me through the holidays and wireless woes while I wait on the fix.

Lucas,
These beta systems, I assume if they all work correctly we should see a new firmware patch in the very near future?

Just tested the beta firmware on 5GHZ with my moto g5 plus and Chromecast, no browsing problems (I had DNS errors before), good bandwidth and Chromecast works as it should. Only drawback is the coverage, which doesn't improve compared to my ZTE router (provided by my ISP).
