Have you tried to connect a computer directly to the D Link 5 port switch and check the internet connection? If the outcome is the same, then it is best to call D Link Support Team to assist you further.

That's a good way to properly isolate the case. Don't forget to check the ethernet cable connecting the E4300 router and the D-Link switch. It can be the culprit . Anyway, hope the firmware update...
