- H/W version: How do i get it? i couldn't find it on the web UI, the sticker on the back of the router says 'Model No:E1500'
- F/W version: 1.0.06 build 1
- I'm located in Israel
- Factory reset has not been performed recently, i did had my F/W upgraded few weeks ago (issue happened before and after upgrade)
Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations
- ISP is over DSL
- Modem F/W and model is unknown (ISP branded)
- Mixed network mode
- Channel width is 20MHz
- Chanel is set to Auto
- WPA2 authentication
- Issue happens with many wireless devices (nexus4 android, lenovo thinkpad running win8, lumia 920 running windows phone 8)
- No strong access points near by (neighbours also has access points)
I don't think ISP has anything to do with this issue (remember - wired and clients which already got connected to wifi are working well).
Also - in the past i had issues with wifi clients doesn't get DNS settings after getting DHCP address (IOW - i got DHCP assigned address but no internet connectivity due to DNS resolution issues, manully set DNS servers resolved the issue), in the past - router restart resolved the problem (but after one of the previous F/W update i stopped seeing this issue).
