I tried to block it access, but found that it starts to pound the firewall with requests trying to get access. I found it also trys multiple calls to for DNS lookups, even though it is not serving as DNS on the network nor DHCP server (firewall is).
I still have it becuase my wife bought for me as gift and held to long before I could test and reject it. So it has been put to work, but strongly issolated. I leave with a link to Linksys CnC, it runs more stablily that way. I wish I could trurn off the WAN port, but keep a working wireless router. Hoping for OpenWRT.
If your looking to not use the WAN port and keep WIFI going, why not try this?
