...and it will never be. I knew all-along back then that this issue will never be fixed from a simple reason : belkin aquired linksys from cisco and it has absolutely no intention of supporting and prioritize legacy products but instead release new ones (this is the modern sense of business that many companies embrace = buy us ,**bleep** you.) Anyway , i allowed the consultant from Philippine (or where the hell Linksys outsourced its support - another proof of cheap company) continue lying to me posing into a nice little kitty about the "new firmware..." . Bull**bleep** all along. How the heck could a simple "hello sir how may i help you" guy know about sensitive information in fw sofware releases. I am not stupid.
I already returned the router after 1 month of talking with the linksys support and i suggest you people do the same. Conformity of the product is affected by this and you have all the legal things behind you to request your money back. (or at least this is in EU)
I will never buy Linksys products ever again. Companies like TP-LINK already released 3 FW in one year for their product i currenty own (and i must recommend them - i am not having a single issue for almost a year now) as their sw support is miiiiles but miiiiles ahead of what linksys provides . Linksys was unabled to release a single **bleep**ing FW update in 2 years.
