Good thing grub3r. Are you familiar with any third party firmware that you want to load on the WRT1900AC? I don't think I would also want to upgrade my router to third party one. Linksys doesn't support a third party firmware so it would be safe to use the original firmware for the router. What's best here is that we have a few months to test the possibility of loading a different firmware into this router to our advantage because they're going to replace our device if it gets destroyed by playing around with a third party firmware. Time will come that they will announce about voiding the warranty of any WRT1900AC having the third party firmware in it.
