You can try to disconnect all the devices from the network or change the SSID and password of the Wi-Fi. Then, power cycle the router and check again the device list. But maybe you should give reset another chance. Most of the firmware updates will perform best after a reset, especially if it’s done manually. I did this once and the device, although it’s of another model, started working as it should. I hope it’s going to work with yours too.
