Jason, same results here. The one time that I didn't touch the admin GUI after bringing the router up, I had 2 days of uptime without a reboot, and changed routers at that point, no reboot. Unheard of here with the WRT1900AC, never got past a day without a spontaneous reboot that obviously caused disconnects *smile*. I don't change settings much, there aren't many changes that you can make with this router, so I know that it has to do with having the admin GUI up. Like you, I'm not even sure if you have to touch the GUI if it's up, but doesn't matter to me, it's just an unacceptable situation.

So I'm just waiting for firmware that fixes this, and not using the WRT1900AC. Meanwhile, I'm using another really good, stable router, and enjoying having it's admin GUI open while I'm using it *smile*.

I totally agree. A $250 router that's been out for several months, the last firmware update is already two and half months old, and the router still has such serious issues is a completely unacceptable situation. It's like they didn't test it in any real world scenarios before releasing it to the public. I hope this isn't the kind of poor quality we can come to expect from Linksys products now that Belkin owns it.
