On my EA2700, I periodically couldn't access the router settings on the web interface. It simply was unavailable for days at a time, and since 192.168.1.1 was directed to the web interface, I had no way to access the router until the web interface was working again. It got so frutstrating that I rolled back to the basic firmware a few months ago and have been using the native Smart WiFi interface since.
I bought this router specifically because of the web interface and parental controls. These are unreliable and I wouldn't recommend it for anybody else.
