I understand you may be a rep for Linksys, but a couple thoughts and no more complaints.. First i actually would prefer that Linksys at least put out firmware to address some of the major issues like dropping connection or resets to hold us off until another firmware fixes the other issues, and no, it should not take 6 months to fix a firmware or that company should and could loose alot of users. All other routers, especially home routers that come in at the top tier pricing should be at least able to provide quick fixes for stability. This is not a major feature being complained about here. As for your remarks about stopping the complaints and getting another router... Dude, many users pin their hopes on high end and expensive routers like this and some chance everything to get one even selling off their previous ones. Its about perception and which league you want to play in, if come to the majors and get paid millions, uou best too perform that level, if this were another $60 router then yeah, no one should be upset as they would expect less to begin with. I am in the technology industry and I know how these things work, so Linksys did not test this correctly the first time so we just sit back and give them a few months to get it right? After the product has been sold? In the tech industry that follows a few dismissed team members. I can appreciate what you are saying but the only way to get the company to listen up and get a sense of urgency is to get on these forums and show our dissapoimtment since opening tickets with the company will always stay within the company and not alert porential buyers to the issues. So i disagree these forums are not only to praise the products it is to say it like it is. We should not be pinning newcomers hopes with delusions of a setting fix when we should just be telling everyone on this forum that The device is not usable in any environemnt in its current condition. How else is Linksys going to take ownership for what they fed us if we dont complain here?
Sorry but those remarks pushed my buttons. I will do all a favor now and not post any other remarks on this forum. Good luck to you. By the way negative remarks are justified and no one here should get offended unless they are the owner of the product i dont think.
