Seems like more and more routers are targeted these days, Linksys and other home router manufacturers need to step up the game and issue more frequent firmware updates to combat this, it is their responsibility to do so.
I have never used any other routers other than those by Linksys, I would flash them all with DD-WRT but two of the four do not support it (they have unsupported Marvell and Atheros chipsets)
