Please accept my profound appreciation for the information and guidance you gave me. It works perfectly.
I find it very difficult to understand why that sort of information is not made available to the Linksys tech. helpers whom I contacted at leat five times over the past months; the latest being yesterday. They all did their best, but ultimately rely on telling me that engineers are working on a firmware upgrade, but it just does not come about.
I am so grateful for the detailed instructions you gave about IE11 too. The emulation is not that obvious to find, at least for me, but following your instructions took me to it - to IE 10 and able to go into the router's page where I am able to control all of the machines in our household.
Thank you so much and if Linksys or Belkin or whoever owns this company has good people, they will get the information you graciously gave and teach their tech helpers. There are others with the same situation as me. I began to think that Linksys has something against Microsoft the way the technicians espouse so quickly using Chrome. It is not that I dislike chrome; it is I use a low capacity SSD and don't want to further clutter my machine with too many applications. Windows 8 and 8.1 had a great deal of issues, at least in my household; but over the past months, things seem to be stable now.
