Thanks that does clear it up.
You will need to configure the EA6500 without it connected to the Actiontec. Then you should be able to put it into Bridge mode and specify it's IP Address so it doesn't conflict with the ActionTec's IP. I'm guessing that the Smart Wifi Software is detecting the conflict as soon as you connect it and then immediately changes it and somehow uploads that information to the Linksys cloud servers. Just to be sure the Cloud Connect servers aren't changing the IP Address on you the router could be disassociated from the Cloud servers with a factory reset.
